Thank you to all those who supported our Silver Lining event in aid of Willing & Abel charity. Mr Steward came to explain to the children about the work of this charity. The money we raised today will go towards helping a young Ghanaian boy who was born with some of his vital organs outside of his body. This money will pay for corrective surgery that he would never have been able to access otherwise. A great way to really help change somebody’s life. Well done children.
Another busy week next week, some of our Millionaires Club from Accelerated Reader are having a trip to Harry Potter World. We also participate in Town Sports and our lower school choir will be performing at Bedworth Civic Hall.
We also have our lower school sports day on Thursday morning.
Please note that guitar lessons next Friday will be earlier than usual, please remind your child to check times with Mr Roberts.
We have our New Parents evening for reception on Monday at 6.00pm. It would be lovely if some of our house captains/house ambassadors were able to come along too. Please see separate letter and permission slip if you are happy for your child to assist.
On 11th July we are hoping to have our own Race for Life event. This is a first for our school and we hope it will be a great success. Further details of this event will follow.
