Message from the Head – 11th November 2016

Thank you to the senior citizens who joined us for our tea party on Thursday. We only had a select few which was a shame but the children gained so much from the experience.

Next week is our anti bullying week. ‘The Actor’s Company’ will be in upper school to perform an anti bullying play on Friday and follow up with a workshop.

Thank you to those parents who sent letters and emails regarding parking concerns. These were all passed on to the local authority who have pledged to do something to alleviate issues of parking on grass verges in Ambleside Road and on the corner of Derwent Road. Councillor Chattaway will be visiting local residents for their views and a PCSO will be visiting at some point too.

Next Friday, November 18th is Children in Need day. The theme this year is Spotacular Spots. The children can come to school in spots in exchange for a donation to this great cause.

We are currently making plans for our Christmas Fayre. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who is in a position to offer a prize for the event.
