Message from the Head – 9th December 2016

Year 1 and 2 started our Christmas performances in style today, the children were wonderful as always!
Please make sure you have tickets for Year 3/4 and Reception performances as we are very limited for space. If you can avoid the need for pushchairs etc…or if they can be left outside, this would also help in case we need to evacuate.

The P.E. Staff are reporting that there are several children who never bring their P.E. kit and who are relying on school providing spare kit. P.E. kit is part of school uniform and is required each week. The trainers or pumps for outdoor P.E. are essential as school shoes are not appropriate. Please ensure your child is properly equipped.

Sadly we are having to ban Match Attack cards in school now. Despite several warnings, children are playing with cards at the wrong times, cards go missing, children are attempting to sell cards etc…This is no longer the fun activity it should be and as from Monday all cards will be confiscated. Please remind your child not to bring them to school.

Next week on Thursday it is Christmas Dinner but only for those who have pre-ordered or who are entitled to a free school meal. There will not be an option to pay for a meal on that day so a packed lunch will need to be provided please.

Santa letters on our special paper are to be handed in Monday at the latest to give him a chance to write back to us before we break up for Christmas!
