Message from the Head

Welcome back for the Summer term! I hope everyone has had a good break.
Well done to all those who attended the extra Year 6 revision classes. I hear they were very well attended and really useful with a few treats thrown in!
It is an important term as ever, with our SATs in Year 2 and Year 6 and Phonics in Year 1, so attendance is very important.
We have had two fabulous dance days this week. Thank you to those parents who were able to come along and watch the children perform. It was noticeable that some children are not in correct P.E. kit and others are relying on spare kit. Children need to have a school P.E. shirt in the colour of their house team with a school logo and black or navy shorts. Please ensure these are in line with school policy.
As we have had such lovely weather lately it is timely to remind you that Summer uniform can be worn – purple check summer dresses or tailored shorts and white polo shirts. It is also important that children have their water bottles in school. Only water is allowed for drinking in class during the day but children can have juice with their packed lunch if they wish.
